Discovering that I had food issues around 15 years ago has been a blessing and a curse.

A blessing because I found I could tackle some mystery health issues that I’ve since discovered were autoimmune in nature. A curse because I’ll be watching what I eat from now on.

What a lot of the other blogs don’t talk about enough (IMO) is that eating for autoimmunity is a lot of work.

My philosophy is that when it comes to food, perfect is the enemy of good. Are there times when absolute strictness is necessary? Yes. Is it realistic to be super strict forever? No. Is that okay? Of course.
